ECDC Memmingen Indians vs EC Hannover Indians

 

ECDC Memmingen must in game 5 against the Hannover Indians – Sport im Allgäu

On Monday night, in front of more than 4,100 fans at the Horse Tower, Hanover won 4-0 against the Memminger Indians and completed the series best-of-5 2-2. The decision must therefore be made on Wednesday in the fifth match, for which the ECDC will once again have their fans behind them at the seething chicken hill. The fourth game in Hanover started very badly for the Allgäu team. The Memminger Indians tried, but not necessarily in Hanover

Memmingen coach Sergej Waßmiller tried to change ranks in the final third. ECDC entered the Hannover area dangerously many times, but many Memmingen fans had the feeling early on that there shouldn’t be a goal that night. Hannover acted defensively, Memmingen, on the other hand, was not convincing enough in the end. Otherwise dangerous shots did not go through or the cross pass was sought too playfully.

With their own fans behind them, Wassmiller’s proteges will need to score a goal or two on Wednesday. Hannover showed how it works, putting Bohanka on one of the few chances to make it 3-0. Shortly before the end, Memminger’s Indians were allowed to act on the power play for the first time, but even without Eisenhut in goal and with a sixth outfielder, nothing came in. Bohanka made it 4-0 with her shot into the empty Memminger Tor.
