AFC: Qualification – 2022
The Oriental area of the 2022 FIFA Globe Mug certification serves as qualifiers for the 2022 FIFA Globe Mug to be kept in Qatar for nationwide groups that are participants of the Oriental Football Confederation (AFC). Aside from Qatar (that certified immediately as hosts), an overall of 4.5 ports (4 straight ports and 1 inter-confederation play-off port) in the last competition are offered for AFC groups.
The certification procedure includes 4 rounds; the initially 2 rounds function as the certification for the 2023 AFC Oriental Mug. In spite of certifying as holds, Qatar took part in these 2 rounds to look for Oriental Mug certification. They would certainly have acted as qualifiers for the terminated 2020 AFC Solidarity Mug
