LAS VEGAS – The match between Canelo Alvarez and Caleb Plant will be held at the MGM Grand Place, USA, Saturday (6/11/2021). The Canelo versus Plant match for the Super Middleweight unification title will start at 7:00 PM with another series of matches.
So far, Canelo still has a good record, since returning to the super middleweight section in December 2020. He was able to beat Callum Smith to snatch the WBA title and win the WBC belt.
Canelo’s victory continued, he managed to beat Avni Yildirim in February. Over the next 3 months, Canelo defeated Billy Joe Saunders and had the rights to the WBA, WBC and WBO titles.
Not happy with the title he currently has, Canelo wants to add to his title as super middleweight champion by aiming for the IBF title. However, Canelo had to conquer Plant to snatch the title he wanted.
While Plant has a good record in the number of matches he has gone through. Plant has a record 21 battles with 12 of them ending by KO.
